Jesse

Jessie began practicing yoga more than 20 years ago as a complement to her dance training. After a serious dance injury, yoga became an integral part of her recovery and eventually a much deeper part of her life. Today, she brings her lifelong love of movement to a yoga practice rooted in compassion and connection.

Jessie earned her 200-hour certification from the Kripalu School of Yoga in 2012. She also holds an MFA in Choreography from Jacksonville University and a BFA in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College, as well as Personal Trainer and Group Fitness certifications through ACE Fitness.

Jessie teaches yoga and dance throughout the tristate area, bringing her extensive background in movement, choreography, and fitness to her classes. Her choreographic work has been performed throughout New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Florida.

At TULA, Jessie encourages students to explore movement with greater awareness and compassion, creating a practice that supports both the body and the person moving through it.
