Beth

Beth discovered the joy of movement and music at just three years old when she first stepped barefoot onto a dance studio floor. A lifelong dancer, she earned her BA in Dance Therapy and Psychology and began her career working with children with special needs and adults in psychiatric settings. Her love of movement later expanded into adult fitness and more than two decades of teaching ballet and creative movement to preschool children.
Beth completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at Yoga Culture in Danbury in 2013, followed by Restorative Yoga Teacher Training with Jillian Pransky. She became certified in Y12SR (Yoga of 12-Step Recovery) with Nikki Myers in 2016 and most recently completed Ann Swanson’s Science of Yoga training. She continues to deepen her practice through ongoing study and workshops with inspirational teachers.
For more than 30 years, Beth has helped students care for themselves and others through movement, education, and wellness. She is also a First Aid and CPR instructor for the American Heart Association.
At TULA, Beth brings warmth, experience, and a lifelong appreciation for movement to the mat, encouraging students to explore the many ways yoga can support the body and mind.
